34 days ago, I accepted the http://www.nanowrimo.org challenge. I set out to write 50,000 words in 30 days. I crossed the 50K mark in 25 days. As I wrote the story poured from my fingers. I had been thinking about it for awhile and many things that I shit out onto the page on a whim came back to actually mean something later. The more I wrote, the more the story felt like two different tales. Instead of publishing one 50K book, I finished the challenge with one Novellete and a 21K start on book two.
Since then I've been rewriting and tossing the work out to beta readers. I must say editing is a lot less fun than writing.
Now, I'm waiting on the notes from the beta readers. The waiting is the hardest part.
